What Loc Maintenance Services do you offer? We offer the following services for Loc Maintenance. Palm Rolling: Locs are retwisted using a hair gel, then dried completely to prevent unraveling. Palm Rolling should not be done more frequently than every 4 weeks to maintain Loc health. Interlocking: A latch hook/interlocking tool is used to pull the end of Loc through the root at 4 points. This technique tightens new growth without the use of products and doesn’t unravel when hair gets wet. Interlocking is typically done every 2-3 months or when there’s sufficient new growth. Crochet Retwist: A crochet hook/needle is used to instantly Loc loose hair at the base of the Loc. The Crochet Method also tightens new growth without product use and doesn’t unravel when hair gets wet. Crochet Retwist is usually done every 2-3 months.
