Founded in 2021, The Loc Artistry by AV brings together skilled loc artistry, holistic care, and practical education. We believe that healthy hair begins with understanding the whole person, and that every client deserves personalized care, knowledge, and a space where they feel valued.

Amoy founded The Loc Artistry by AV in 2021, combining her background in nursing and leadership with her passion for natural hair care.
A registered nurse since 2004 and certified Microloc Consultant and Instructor, she approaches loc care holistically, recognizing the connections between hair health, lifestyle, environment, and overall well-being.
Through The Loc Artistry and ROOTED, Amoy is committed to making education accessible, encouraging intentional self-care, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their care.

Keira is an experienced loctician, author, and creative professional specializing in traditional loc maintenance and styling. Known for her attention to detail and creativity, she is passionate about helping clients maintain healthy locs while embracing their individuality.
She brings a thoughtful, personalized approach to her work and continues to expand her expertise in Microloc retightening.

Lydia brings over 20 years of experience in professional hair care. A licensed cosmetologist, certified trichologist, and cosmetology instructor, she combines technical expertise with a strong foundation in hair and scalp health.
She specializes in Microloc and Sisterlocks retightening, traditional loc interlocking, and precision maintenance, providing individualized care that supports healthy locs.

Easa is an herbalist and owner of Easa Greens Organics, bringing her passion for plant-based wellness and natural hair care to The Loc Artistry by AV.
Certified in Microloc and traditional loc installation and maintenance, she continues to develop her skills through hands-on training, combining her knowledge of holistic wellness with thoughtful, individualized loc care.

Sisterlocks Practitioner | Creative+ Partner
Amanda is the founder of Creative+ and Double Take Casting & Consulting. An entrepreneur, educator, and advocate for self-expression, she brings a passion for creativity, community, and intentional self-care.
A trained Sisterlocks practitioner since 2013, Amanda shares The Loc Artistry's commitment to education and individualized care. Her longstanding relationship with Amoy and their shared values inspired the Loc Artistry Montclair partnership at Creative+.
